Who SLN Solutions is:

SLN Solutions was started in 2009 by me (Miles Stevens) with the intent on delivering good, knowledgeable service at reasonable prices. I have over 10 year experience from residential PC repair to enterprise level systems engineering.

I started out with PTS in Angleton servicing our in-house environment as well as fuel stations around the county. From there I moved to Computron in Lake Jackson as a desktop support technician. My belief in treating customers fairly contradicted the business practices there so I left for Texas Business Solutions over in Clute. I was there for a little over a year working as a desktop technician / network administrator before I received an offer to be a network administrator at BBS Technologies in Houston. I worked there for 3 years bringing their environment from a handful of servers to a multi-site enterprise environment. From there I was offered a position as the technology analyst at Interactive Response Technologies. My duties included upgrading the company's three locations from NT4 to Server 2003 and an across-the-board upgrade to Cisco networking equipment. Once the project was through I move over to The Planet in Houston. The Planet is the largest privately owned hosting provider in North American with over 50,000 servers across 6 data centers. I held the position of Windows Systems Engineer for a year before deciding to bring my knowledge and expertise to you!

I am a Microsoft Certified Professional in Windows Server 2003 as well as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Windows Server 2008. I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Network Engineering degree in 2003.

I have seen many things during my time working for both small companies and enterprise level corporations. The most enjoyable thing about what I do now is getting to meet new people and the feeling that is shared when technology issues get resolved and the workflow is streamlined.
